Visit Picasso Museum
Its an iconic building, first of all from outside built with 16th century style rocks, this museum is very famous to visit in Antibes.
Until 1600 it was held by Genoese Grimaldi family and after it was taken over by French crown.
Picasso was invited in the summer of 1946 to the city of Antibes and was allowed to use the castle as his studio and he made a good use out of it and painted famous painting the same summer.
The museum was inaugurated in 1966 with over 266 painting of Picasso and it’s the most visited museum in Antibes.
Visit Port Vauban
its an important port of French Riviera and its now managed by Antibes yachting club. A lot of celebrities and tourist dock on this port.
If you’re into yachting industry or you love yacht you should definitely take a walk on the port, you will see some magnificent yachts docked on the port.
The port is open to public so you can talk and take as many pictures you want.
Marché Provençale
One of the best market on Cote d’Azur – here you can find fresh fruits and vegetable, French cheese and meat products directly from the local producers. Great place to find local food and herbs.

Le Nomade
You will find this statue in Port Vauban but you will have to walk up stairs on the wall to reach the statue, its around 8 meters in height and it was built by Spanish artist Juame Plensa.
It is made entirely of letters made of aluminum and the statue is like a man looking at the sea. The statue is open to public all the time of the year, the best time to see is in the evening when its lit up with lights.
Garoupe Lighthouse and church
You would ideally need a car to reach to the top but there are also limited option to go with the bus. From here you will have panoramic views of Antibes and Juan les pins, the views are just amazing and it’s a must see spot. Best time to go is in the morning and during sunset to make the most of the view and sun.
Along side the lighthouse is a church and a small restaurant for light snacks so you can have some drinks once you’re at the top.
Fort Carré
This fort has a lot of historical background it was commissioned by King Henry II in the second half of the 16th century, this fort was built for defense purposes, but was later used as a prison (Napoleon Bonaparte was briefly held here), as well as military barracks.
This fort is also called the protective walls of Antibes. The views from the top are just amazing you can have a panoramic views of Antibes and beyond.
There is an entry fee which is 3 euros and the tours are offered in English and French.
