All the coastal cities are connected with Trains which stops at all stops from Grasse until Monaco and further you can discover. The bus system is not very efficient as the frequency are not very frequent and it covers the main areas only, but still an ideal option to go from one city to another. If you have planned your entire trip and know which cities and location you want to cover, the best way is to rent a car so that you are flexible to travel without the need to check the timetable and train schedules, make sure to check some basic local driving rules!

1) Nice 

 

Promenade des Anglais is the most popular coastal road in Nice. With its beautiful location great views and warm weather, Nice is definitely the place to visit and experience on French Riviera. Nice is known for its fabulous markets, great restaurants, night life and old town. There is so much to discover and most if it can be discovered by walk.

You can take a walk in the famous Promedane des Anglais along the costal path, take a dip in the beach for a while. At the end of the Promenade you will see a Castle hill to climb from where you can experience panoramic views of the entire city and more.
